Instructions for Use of the High Ferritin App:

Please enter your patient’s genetics and ferritin level, or their special condition, select
Check Eligibility
and follow the onscreen instructions.

If your patient is an existing therapeutic donor with Lifeblood, select
Existing Red Cross Lifeblood Therapeutic Donor
instead of entering your patient’s genetics
- If your patient is eligible to attend Lifeblood as a therapeutic donor, you will be requested to create a venesection schedule for your patient.
- Once the form has been submitted for Therapeutic Venesection it will be forwarded to Lifeblood and your patient will then be contacted.
